The origin of Kenya’s culture

Photo: Kenya: Strategic point on Earth

Peoples of African, Arab, Turkish, Persian and European origin fought to gain and maintain their control over this strategic point of the planet that was located on the Indian ocean trade routes.

During the Renaissance period in Europe, the region that now is named “Kenya” was an important centre of an emerging political, commercial, and cultural globalization.

Thanks to the interchange of cultural values among different peoples, both local and invaders, a cultural osmosis was soon born creating a unique culture from the point of view of its values to its architectural masterpieces.
