The Hon. Consul of Kenya, Mrs. V. Pantazopoulou, at the 2nd Eldoret Marathon.

 

The Hon. Consul of Kenya in Greece, Mrs. Vicky  Pantazopoulou, attended the successful 2nd edition of the Eldoret City Marathon which took place on April 2019 in Eldoret, capital city of Uasin Gishu County. Mrs. Pantazopoulou was officially invited to attend by the Governor of the County, Hon. Jackson A. Mandago. The theme of this year’s event was “Climate Action” with emphasis on environmental conservation.

On the occasion of the arrival in Greece of the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya, Ambassador (Dr.) Amina C. Mohamed, EGH, CAV, who participated as invited speaker at Τhe New York Times Athens Democracy Forum, the Hon. Consulate of the Republic of Kenya in the Hellenic Republic offered an official luncheon in her honor (September 14, 2017). 


The Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya, Ambassador (Dr.) Amina C. Mohamed, EGH, CAV, participated as invited speaker at Τhe New York Times Athens Democracy Forum (September 13-17, 2017), together with many other internationally respected personalities from all over the world. 


Ambassador Mr. Tom Amolo, Political & Diplomatic Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Trade of Kenya arrived in Athens (April 10-13, 2017) to have talks with his counterparts in the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


The Hon. Consul of Kenya, Mrs. Vicky Pantazopoulou, presented, during a specially organized forum, entrepreneurial opportunities in Kenya’s market regarding mainly sectors such as constructions, energy, health, tourism, education and agricultural products.


The Greek mission to Kenya (17-22 of July, 2016), headed by the Greek Dep. Minister for International Economic Relations, Mr. Dimitris Mardas, concluded successfully. In Nairobi, Mr. Mardas represented Greece to all UNCTAD14 events.


The KNCCI Organizing Committee, undertaking all missions abroad of the Chamber, started operating to organize a successful investment and trade mission to Greece that will be headed by the Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Ambassador Amina Mohamed, and realized till the end of 2016.


Considering the fact that several Greek companies have already established their Kenya branch and also estimating the great opportunities Kenya’s market can offer to Greek entrepreneurs, the Hon. Consul of Kenya in Greece, Mrs. Vicky Pantazopoulou, had a meeting with the Cabinet Secretary for Industry, Trade and Cooperatives, Hon. Adan Mohamed, EGH.
